Jewelry Making Level I
Silver and Copper Bands
Learn how to make jewelry using traditional jewelry techniques.
The participants will learn basic techniques in use of the rolling mill, piercing, sawing, filing, sweat soldering, riveting, and finishing. As well as learning how to create your own jump rings, bails, creative use of your silver scraps, setting up your own studio, and safe studio practices.
Students will create their very own rings, earrings, and a pendant, using their own designs and applying the learned techniques. All sterling silver, copper, brass, and solder is supplied for each project.
*No experience necessary*
We are a small studio, giving you the added bonus of amazing one-on-one time with our instructor Shannon. We also pride ourselves on delivering more personalized teaching methods to ensure you complete your pieces on time and love them!!
*Cost: $452 includes HST (15 grams of silver and 30 grams of copper and brass are included.)
*Class Duration: 6 Sessions of 3 hours
*Projects: Two forged rings, rolling mill ring, one layered Silver band, one pair earrings, one Silver and Copper pendant.
*Maximum Number of Students per Class: 4
*Day: Tuesdays September 15th to October 20th, 2026
*Daytime: 1:00 to 4:00pm
*Evening: 6:00 to 9:00pm
